    Tirupati: Three persons were stuck in the middle of Ralla Kalava flood stream On Thursday in Yerpedu Mandal of Chittoor district. Today early hours while they were crossing the stream the incident took place. After receiving the information Tirupati RDO Kanaka Narasa Reddy has sent a fire brigade for the rescue operation.

    RDO has also reached the spot and executing the rescue operation. Fire personnel are put their efforts to rescue the three youth. It came to know that water resources department engineers released the flood flows from Mallimadugu dam on Wednesday night, due to flood flows released all of the sudden stream speed was increased in Rallmadugu.

    Cyclone Nivar: All dams in Tirumala full to brim due to rains

    Tirumala: Thanks to copious inflows following unabated heavy rains in Seshachalam forests all dams in Tirumala are full to the brim.

    TTD authorities are keeping a close watch and alerted the people in the down reaches.

    Due to Nivar cyclone effect Chittoor district is experiencing heavy rains since Wednesday.

    As many as 25 mandals mostly in eastern part of the district under Tirupati divisionon recorded 10 to 27 cm rainfall (recorded at 8 am Thursday) while the district average rainfall stood at 8.7 cm
