Adhire Abhi Insecure Movie Review : Adhire Abhi comes with a thr‘illogical’ film
“Jabardasth” fame Adhire Abhi and actress Amiksha Pawar came up with their film “Insecure”. The film created buzz with its trailers and posters released. “Moni” film director Sathyanarayana Ekari directed and produced the film. The film hits the theatres and let’s see how it fares at box-office.
Story
Adhire Abhi and Ameeksha Pawar are a happily married couple and leads a wonderful life. Ameeksha goes into labour pains and drives herself to reach the hospital. Suddenly her car got hit and the movie takes a U-turn. What happens to the lead pair, who hit the car, how was the revenge taken, is the main crux of the story.
Analysis
Story-wise, “Insecure” is a regular thriller genre film but the director Sathyanarayana Ekari made sure to execute the proceedings with the right mix of romance and thriller elements. The director and his team did a fine job of presenting the serious issue in a thrilling way without any excess drama.
On the flip side, the movie have some major issues to discuss. Better music and lip sync would have added more vibe to the film. Some illogical scenes and properties used plays a major drawback in the film. On the whole, “Insecure” is a thriller which is packaged quite cleverly. Solid romance, and light hearted family drama are the major assets which can pull audience to the theatre.
Performances
Abhinaya Krishna aka Adhire Abhi did a decent job to the role given. Though the actor doesn’t have scope to show his performance, he tried to back the movie on his shoulders. Ameeksha Pawar gets a meaty role and delivers her best. She was fitted perfectly in a woman driven content. “Sita Ramam” actor Madhu Nambiar does a decent job in the police officer character. Other actors and actresses justified their given roles.
Technicalities
Director Sathyanarayana Ekari takes the audience into the mood of the film at the very early stages. From there, it will be the edge of the seat thriller. The experience of four films was seen in his taking. It would have been much better if he adds some more drama in the climax stages.
Music is the biggest drawback of the film. There is only one song which will not engage audience, even the background score is not upto the mark. Team should have taken much care at dubbing as the lip sync is no perfect in most of the scenes. Editing is crisp as the run time was less than two hours.
