Dabangg 3 Review: Salman Back As Chulbul Pandey, Kichcha Sudeep Excels As Baddie
Salman Khan's Dabangg 3 saw theatrical release today across the globe. This is the third instalment of the popular franchise Dabangg. Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Arbaaz Khan play the key roles. Sandalwood hero Kichcha Sudeep plays the villain in Dabangg 3.
The Salman movie opened amid huge expectations. Does it live up to its hype? Does the movie tick all the boxes of a successful blockbuster? Let's find out...
Dabangg 3 Review and Analysis: Choreographer Prabhu Deva who has directed a lot of movies earlier is back with Dabbang 3. He has included all the signature elements of the franchise in the movie. Fans will identify with the all too familiar scenes from the previous Salman movie. Salman is back as Chulbul Pandey and entertains his true blue fans who have seen the other instalments of the movie. The punchlines in the movie give you the deja vu feeling. Cliched and stereotypical a few scenes may seem for those expecting something new from this. While it's Salman's show all the way, Sandalwood actor Kichcha Sudeep who plays the antagonist is brilliant and steals the show. He holds his own in the movie and manages to impress the audience with his mind-blowing performance as a baddie. Sonakshi is her usual self. Salman as a cop too manages to give his fans what they came to watch -- his usual swag, signature steps and punch dialogues that are whistle-worthy.
Verdict: Dabangg 3 is a one-time watch strictly for Salman Khan fans. The movie has all the commercial elements but falls short of offering anything new to the audience. The movie is Salman's show all the way and provides a visual treat to his followers. Watch it for timepass.
