Nithiin's Bheeshma Movie Review & Rating
Bheeshma is one of the upcoming films in Telugu. Nithiin and Rashmika Mandanna played the lead roles. Venky Kudumula who earlier made his debut with the film Chalo is helming the movie now. The makers launched the theatrical trailer yesterday and it looks super fun. Interestingly, the makers are happy with the response to the trailer. The movie's pre-release business has come around 26 crores and Nithiin is confident of scoring a hit. The film released today and read on the review of the film.
Story:
Mr. Bheeshma (Anant Nag) is the CEO of a company, 'Bheeshma Organics'. He has been in search of a good heir to carry on his legacy. Then he meets a youngster Bheeshma (Nithiin) and realizes that he is a suitable candidate to become his heir. Jr.Bheeshma gets appointed as the Operational CEO for 30 days. How Bheeshma (Nithiin) prove his talent and become the CEO? His love story with Chaitra (Rashmika) forms the rest of the story.
Performances:
Nithiin got an interesting role in this movie and the actor has delivered his best performance in the film. Be it the romantic scenes or the action sequences, Nithiin will definitely grab the attention with his performance. Rashmika Mandanna is truly captivating in this film. Her expressions, body language, and beauty became the biggest plus points for this film. Jisshu Sengupta's energetic performance added more strength to the film. Anant Nag is truly an asset for this film and the actor has delivered an honest performance in the film. Vennela Kishore and Satya's comedy timing is too good. Rajiv Kanakala got a meaty role in this movie and as usual, he went under the skin of the character. Sampath Raj and Raghu Babu also justified their roles. Brahmaji and Naresh are impressive in their respective characters.
Technical Aspects:
Venky Kudumula came up with an interesting plotline for the film. We can say that the director gave equal importance to both the love track as well as the social message. His pace of narration is also quite impressive. We can say that the director has narrated the story really well. Production values by Surya Devara Naga Vamsi under the Sithara Entertainments banner are very high. Music by Mahati Swara Sagara is too good. A couple of songs are quite impressive and his BGM also suited well for the film. Cinematographer Sai Sriram has produced some beautiful visuals for this movie. Editing by Naveen Nooli is clean.
Verdict:
The film has a simple storyline. The movie starts off with the routine comedy scenes and romantic track. The entertainment elements are handled really well. The dialogues are good and the concept is fine. Post interval twist increases the curiosity. The rivalry between Jisshu Sen Gupta and Nithiin's characters is established in an interesting and strong way. The post-interval scenes are really good but have some dull moments as well. The film has clean comedy, good direction and racy screenplay. But, the thin storyline and some boring scenes in the second half are the only negative aspects of the film. Overall, 'Bheeshma' can be considered as a good one time watch.
