Varane Aavashyamundu Movie Review & Rating {3.5/5}
Malayalam star Dulquer Salmaan's latest outing Varane Aavishyamund hit theatres today. The movie features Kalyani Priyadarshini, Shobhana, Johny Anthony and Suresh Gopi in key roles. The film is directed by Anoop Sathyan. Dulquer Salman has produced the movie in collaboration with M Star Entertainment under his Wayfarer films banner. All the early shows were running to packed houses. This Dulquer Salmaan's movie inspired by the Telugu hit Pelli Choopulu which featured Vijay Deverakonda, is not a faithful remake so to say. Rather the movie offers much more and is fun to watch.
Varane Aavishyamundu reminds you of parts of Salt N Pepper. The winner is not only all the cast members who makes the movie such a breeze to watch but also the dialogue writer himself who makes everything such a happy thing.
The movie also brings back the celluloid's favorite onscreen couple Shobhana and Suresh together. They are joining hands together after their 2005 movie Makalku.
Shobhana plays a single mom Neena while Kalyani plays her daughter Nikitha while Suresh plays an ex-serviceman. Dulquer is just playing his usual self of being a charmer as he always does.
The movie has something for everyone. Anoop's debut movie deserves a round of applause as he has pulled up a casting coup in the literal sense as Shobhana-Suresh jodi reminds the audience of their golden days while the chemistry between Dulquer and Kalyani too is something they will love to watch. The movie is a total paisa Vasool and comedy is a huge plus. Dulquer fans though may be disappointed with his less screen time in the first half. However, he more than makes up for it while other actors too keep the audience engaged with their spellbinding performances.
Verdict: Varane Aavishyamundu is a feel good film and keeps the audience engaged from start to finish. Go watch it this weekend.
