It was a great loss to Bhadrachalam due to the formation of the Telangana state in 2014. The causes whatever are may be, in the context of development Bhadrachalam is far behind over the last five years due to gross negligence of the Telangana government for not releasing funds as promised in the previous visits of CM KCR at the time of Sri Rama Navami.

In fact earlier days Telangana government proposed to get back the five panchayats- Etapaka, Kannaigudem, Gundala, Pichukulapadu and Purushatapatnam from AP. But these proposals are limited to documents.

In this context ,we can understand that Telangana government doesn't have interest on development of Bhadrachalam. But it is a great need as its historical perspective and it is treated as holy place by all over the world. It's called as "Southern Ayodhya" too.

The central government has to involve in this issue and has to give proper guidelines to the state government to develop Bhadrachalam as early as possible.

It should take it as a pilot project and improve rail connectivity of Bhadrachalam . Bhadrachalam should be renamed as "Bhadradri" by collecting opinion of the residents.

If central government is not ready to give guidelines to its development to the state government, then at least it should announce it as "union territory" to continue the development in all aspects , which could be beneficial.
