Mother tongue and 'other' tongue

People in India consider all languages as mothers while mother tongue as their own mother and other languages as their neighbour hood's.

(Row over imposition of Hindi, June 3 ). They regard all languages/ cultures whole heartedly and the way Hollywood, Kollywood and Tollywood movies are patronised over decades without the geographical restrictions of North and South prove this point.

People are very much secular in this country. It is not fair for the BJP to politicise the "Hindi" issue and instead take steps to resolve vital issues nation is facing such as poverty, corruption and illiteracy .
