Nation cannot keep itself locked indefinitely
The actions likely to be announced by the Central government along with the States as regards phasing out of the lockdown are very crucial to roll out the already almost dead economy
The actions likely to be announced by the Central government along with the States as regards phasing out of the lockdown are very crucial to roll out the already almost dead economy.
There is absolutely no other chance and the nation cannot keep itself locked indefinitely with all the sectors closed creating more unemployment, and more unrest, fearing the virus.
The governments have to mainly focus on not only I T Sector, but also several other unattended sectors of professionals - self-employed such as the small vendors, tea - tiffin stalls, cobblers, push cart vendors , small size hotels, salons, etc which are suffering death due to no incomes and no financial support from any govt for that matter.
The govt should open up all big hotels etc because everyone of them will certainly follow guidelines due to a proper organisational structure in them which they have been running with since long.
The private clinics -nursing homes - doctors should be advised to open their units immediately with clear-cut instructions of dealing with patients in case of any corona positive cases suspicion or otherwise.
This would certainly bring more people under health-care atleast now at different places due to other health problems and will definitely reduce the rush at the govt hospitals etc which are now mainly concentrating on corona.
Public transport is a common man's mode of going places which should be meticulously organised with all precautions . Cabs - autos should be allowed day-wise with some method with regulation of charges so as to facilitate common man go to hospitals - health check-ups etc in case of urgency.
Prevention is certainly better than cure, but as on date there is no CURE for the virus infections. Opening up of Railways - air travel should be commenced with meticulous implementation of safety precautions .
Since the occupancy gets reduced, slight increase in charges can be made which will also reduce unnecessary travelling by commuters. Lastly, it will once again be a real and tough pressure on the police, medical fraternity and all the other authorities to enforce strict social distancing etc when once the lockdown gets unlocked, step by step.
There services will be doubly required so as to create an atmosphere of economic activity in the country post relaxation.
The people should bear in mind that they will have to fight-out continuously against this dreadful virus in this un-ending battle until a suitable vaccine - treatment is discovered to put down the virus which may take few more months
