Kumaraswamy challenges Siddaramaiah's allegations of "betrayal" and "treason

Bengaluru: A war of words has erupted in Karnataka's political arena as former Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy challenged the Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah, to confront his allegations of "betrayal" and "treason." Kumaraswamy, taking to Twitter, engaged in a series of tweets, demanding clarity on certain controversial matters.

In his tweets, Kumaraswamy questioned Siddaramaiah's conduct, accusing him of engaging in "betrayal of alliances" that involved undermining political partnerships. He insinuated that Siddaramaiah's actions were akin to "digging the ground," implying a destabilizing influence. Kumaraswamy went on to challenge Siddaramaiah's candidness, asking if he had the courage to confess that he played a pivotal role in the removal of the Kumaraswamy government. The former Chief Minister dared Siddaramaiah to speak the truth and face the consequences.

The ongoing dispute seems to have been fueled by Siddaramaiah's recent references to Siddhasutra, a symbolic representation of hidden knowledge and secrets. Siddaramaiah implied that he had insights into undisclosed matters, and Kumaraswamy challenged him to reveal the content of the Siddhasutra. Kumaraswamy also referenced Siddaramaiah's occupation of a residence allocated to George, raising questions about the reasons behind this decision. He pointed out that former Chief Ministers were traditionally provided separate accommodations and inquired about Siddaramaiah's motives in choosing otherwise.
