3 techies revamp govt school

Tadbund: The Government Boys Primary School, Tadbund, has been given a new lease of life, thanks to three techies who infused life into the dilapidated building by painting it. They raised Rs 1.5 lakh for the purpose.

Not so long ago, the school had enough students, but the number has dipped to just 65 students. Locals say that the school had been losing favour due to the lack of infrastructure and the condition of the building. Rs 10,000 that the education department allots for building maintenance is not enough, say school authorities.
