Asha workers stage stir for salaries

Jogipet: Asha workers handed over a representation to the doctors at the government hospital here, demanding immediate payment of salaries.

Speaking on the occasion, CITU district secretary Mogulaiah said the state government was neglecting sanction of pending bills. He expressed concern that the bills for MCDC Survey and Kanti Velugu were also not yet sanctioned.

He warned of a massive agitation by Asha workers if they were not paid their pending salaries at the earliest. Yashoda, Mariamma, Luckey, Anitha, Sujatha, Narasamma, Nirmala and others were present.
