Amberpet: Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagavath inaugurated blood donation camp at Amberpet Police headquarters in Rachakonda Police Commissionerate on the account of Police Martyrs Day on Monday.

Many Policemen participated in the camp including CP Mahesh Bhagavath. Later, CP inaugurated an album remembering police martyrs which is written and composed by LB Nagar Traffic inspector Anjipalli Nagamullu.

Mahesh Bhagavath said, "Everyone should get inspired from police martyrs and move forward in life. We are conducting many programmes in memory of police martyrs and as a part of it, we conducted blood donation camp. Nearly 500 members from police department are participating in blood donation camp for the past three years.

It made our commissionerate receive the best blood donor award for two years from the Governor." He further added, "We will be always helpful to the families of 17 police martyrs in Rachakonda division." He thanked Dr Pichi Reddy from Indian Red Cross Society for giving their support to the camp.

Crime DCP Yadgiri, traffic DCP Divya Charan Rao, admin DCP Shilpa Valli, police officials association president CH Bhadra Reddy, joint secretary T Venkatayya, Krishna Reddy, addl DCP's Shankar Nayak, Sameer, she teams addl DCP Saleema, crime ACP Harinadh and others were present.
