Borewell works leave people choking

Serilingampally: Locals of Alind employees residing in colony roads numbers 8 and 9, Serilingampally, find it unbearable noise and air pollution caused by digging of borewells. The locals allege contractors were new borewells on every alternate day causing a lot of air pollution and sound pollution.

Speaking to The Hans India here on Monday, a local resident said, "It's been hectic everyday for children as they are becoming the prime victims. The dust caused by digging is entering our houses. Are there any guidelines to be followed while digging the borewell to avoid noise and dust. This is the fourth borewell in the last seven days and due to this, we have stopped our children's from going down to play. We request the authorities to take quick action against this."
