Boy trapped in lift rescued safely
A three- year-old boy, who was trapped in a lift for four hours, was rescued after the residents, with the help of the police, dug a wall and pulled the boy out on Wednesday.
Serilingampally: A three- year-old boy, who was trapped in a lift for four hours, was rescued after the residents, with the help of the police, dug a wall and pulled the boy out on Wednesday. Tense situation prevailed in and around Rajiv Swagruha Aarambh Township at Chandanagar in Seri lingampally.
The news of the boy getting trapped in the lift spread fast and people from the nearby apartments rushed to the spot. It is said that the boy was stuck on the terrace and was rescued with the help of fire, police and 108 emergency service personnel.
A local resident said that lately there were problems in using township lifts. The association members decided not to let children use the lift in the absence of elders.
