Central observers inspect C-Vigil monitoring centre
Central election observers Arvind Singh Pal and Vinay Kumar visited C-Vigil monitoring centre set up at the Vigilance wing a the GHMC main office on Wednesday. The centre monitors all the election complaints related to violation of model code of conduct.
Hyderabad: Central election observers Arvind Singh Pal and Vinay Kumar visited C-Vigil monitoring centre set up at the Vigilance wing a the GHMC main office on Wednesday. The centre monitors all the election complaints related to violation of model code of conduct.
They enquired with the nodal officer concerned Vishwajit Kampati about the procedures employed for receiving complaints and their resolution. They also enquired on the constituencies which had most complaints and the number complaints received so far.
Later, the central election officers participated in an awareness programme on voting machines for disabled voters held at Hari Hara Kalabhavan. SVEEP (Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation) nodal officer Harichandana explained to them the awareness programmes conducted so far as part of educating the voters.
