Class X students sensitised on suicides

Keesara: Serinity School in Nagaram village of Keesara mandal held an awareness meeting for tenth class students and their parents at the school on Friday. The meeting was held keeping in mind increasing of suicides after the exam results.

Addressing the students and parents, secretary of the school Nomula Vasantha said that failure in one exam cannot be construed as life failure. She said that there were people who became IAS and IPS officers even after failing in their tenth and Inter exams.

She urged the parents to instill courage among their children to transform their defeats into success and face difficulties with a smile. Failure is not a curse but a stepping stone in their path towards success, she said.

She said that the school treats all the students equally, whether they are meritorious or academically backward. "It does not matter how many marks you score or what grades you get, but what is important is whether the learning that you received from the school makes you a good and wise person that society can be proud of," she said.
