Shadnagar MLA Anjaiah Yadav, ZP vice-chairman Ganesh, Women welfare commissioner Divya Devaraju and others extended blessings to the newly-wed couple.

The parents of Pratyusha, a resident of Bandlaguda were separated and her mother transferred assets on her name to Pratyusha before she had passed away in 2003. Later, his father admitted her to a welfare home and then took her back to his home in 2013. In order to get the properties of Pratyusha, her step-mother tortured her.

Pratyusha was rescued in 2015 by the Child Rights Organisation and was later adopted by the Chief Minister. The CM promised to take care of her education and also help her settle down in life. Pratyusha who cleared her nursing course in 2019 was working in a hospital.

She got engaged to Charan Reddy, an employee of a private firm two months ago. On Sunday, the Chief Minister's wife K Shobamma presented jewellery and clothes to their adopted daughter.
