Construction area turns mosquito breeding spot at Manikonda

Manikonda: People residing on road no 25, Alkapur Township, Manikonda, are concerned over an open construction plot which has turned a mosquito breeding ground for the past couple of weeks. The works of the building is going at a snail's pace due to which the dug-up pits have been inundated and are creating a ruckus for the locals.

Krishna M, a local resident, shares that the workers at the site are also keeping the surrounding unhygienic and are seen urinating and throwing garbage around which creates malodorous smell as well as a lot of mosquitoes. "We have tried contacting the site authorities as well as the civic authorities but no one has responded," he added further.
