Cops solve murder case of 60-year-old woman

Chandrayangutta: Chandrayangutta police solved the murder case of an old woman and arrested her son and daughter-in-law on Monday. The accused were identified as Kausar Begum and Chand Pasha.

According to ACP-Falaknuma, both killed Khairun Begum (60) on March 30, by hitting her on head, due to which she received severe bleeding injury and lost conscious.

Later, Kausar Begum strangled the old woman with her saree and cleaned the premises to wipe out evidence. Chandrayangutta police who took up investigation, connected the dots and zeroed in on the accused on Monday and produced them before the court.
