While thanking the corporate clients for their valuable support in Bank's growth, Padmaja Chunduru said that Indian Bank with its cherished past continues to grow with the support from its loyal customer base.
She also announced that to further serve the growing industries in the state, Indian Bank would shortly set up an exclusive corporate branch in Hyderabad. She informed that, "Indian Bank has been a proud partner in the inclusive development of Telangana State by supporting infrastructure projects". In terms of Bank performance for FY 18-19, Indian Bank reported a global business of Rs 4.30 lakh crore with 16% growth over 2017-18.
Its advance portfolio grew to Rs 1.88 crore with 15% growth led by 18% growth in RAM Sector. The healthy growth in the loan book was supplemented by improved Asset Quality which was underlined by reduction in Gross NPA at 7.11% from 7.37% and Net NPA at 3.75% from 3.81% for FY-2019 over previous year.
The Bank has made a net profit of Rs 321 crore during the year. Shri R Manohar, Zonal Manager and Shri C Bharathi, Field General Manager thanked the customers for their valuable support during the Meet.
