Damaged manhole emitting bad odour

KPHB colony: The cap of a manhole in front of temple bus stop here is damaged and bad smell is emanating from that drainage and surrounding shopkeepers and local residents are feeling uncomfortable to use the road. This spot is at the road corner and there is every possibility that persons unknowingly can fall into the manhole.

Shopkeepers said they went to municipal office several times and made complaint about the issue and requested them to solve this problem. They were assured of action, but so far there is no sign of any action by the authorities.
