According to the Deccanipoet Late Ghouse Moiuddin Ahmed, pen name Ghouse Khamaka, is known for use the word,Baigan, to reflect the city's culture in a humorous way. Well-known for hilarious verses, he is also known for his book, 'Baigan Saathi.'

'Itne khubsrat hai unu din me chand bhi dekhkar sharmara kate, sharmaye to sharmaye Baigan saathi.' 'Doston ko khana kahne aao bola, aaye to unka bhala, nai aaye to Baigan saathi.'
