Some 36 senior pensioners were felicitated at the 22nd annual general body meeting of the Defence Accounts Pensioners' Welfare Association (DAPWA) recently for completing 75 years.

Hyderabad: Some 36 senior pensioners were felicitated at the 22nd annual general body meeting of the Defence Accounts Pensioners' Welfare Association (DAPWA) recently for completing 75 years.

President at DAPWA VSL Narasimham, the Additional Controller General (Retd) at Indian Defence Account Service (IDAS), along with office bearers, attended the meeting.

DAPWA was formed in 1997 and now the strength of the association is 660 members, which includes family pensioners. The association aims to help pensioners resolve issues related to pensions.
