DSP Narayana appeals for religious amity

Parigi: District Superintendent of Police Narayana appealed people to celebrate festivals peacefully. Speaking during the peace meeting organised here on Monday, the SP said immersion of Ganesh idols should be carried out with devotion not with DJ sounds.

He told organisers not to carry out immersion in late hours of the day. He also said no one should create troubles during 'Muharram'. The SP said India is a country of diversity and Telangana a mini India. All should celebrate the happy moments together, he added. Leaders from various communities and Sub Inspectors were present.
