E-Suvidha to disseminate vote counting info
Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner and District Election Officer Dana Kishore on Tuesday said they are using a novel e-suvidha technology to disseminate the information related to the vote counting in the upcoming counting of LS polls in the state.
Khairatabad: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner and District Election Officer Dana Kishore on Tuesday said they are using a novel e-suvidha technology to disseminate the information related to the vote counting in the upcoming counting of LS polls in the state. He said that the method would be used to reveal the results to the people at the end of every hour.
Addressing the media, Dana said they would open the strong rooms at 5.30 am on May 23 in the presence of leaders of political parties and their counting agents. He said they had appointed one special in-charge at every counting centre.
He also made it clear that those who got identification cards issued by the EC should alone come into the polling stations. He also said they would take up postal ballot votes for counting with the help of two returning officers.
