Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy flays Centre over 'black laws'
Takes part in rasta roko along with a host of TRS legislators as part of nationwide protest against farm laws
Hyderabad: Rajendranagar Several TRS leaders including Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy, Chevella MP Ranjith Reddy, Rajendranagar MLA Prakash Goud and Ibrahimpatnam MLA Manchireddy Kishan Reddy participated in the protest and rasta roko in various parts of Ranga Reddy district on Tuesday.
Sabitha Indra Reddy participated in the rasta roko on Tukkuguda-Srisailam highway whereas MP Ranjith Reddy and MLA Prakash Goud participated in the rasta roko in Aramghar on Bangalore highway. Manchireddy Kishan Reddy participated in the rasta roko on Nagarjunasagar highway in Ibrahimpatnam.
Speaking on the occasion, Sabitha Indra Reddy said the farm laws were the Central government's plot to formulate "black laws'', which would ensure that the farmers would not get Minimum Support Price (MSP) for their produce and let the agriculture sector go into the hands of corporates. MSP is not assured in the new farm bills and also not given clarity on alternative mandi structure, she said.
On Aramghar Chowrasta on Hyderabad-Bangalore National Highway 44, Chevella MP Ranjith Reddy, Rajendranagar MLA Prakash Goud and others participated in the protest as part of Bharat Bandh against Centre's farm bills. The TRS activists participated in large numbers in the rasta roko.
In Ibrahimpatnam on Hyderabad-Nagarjunasagar highway Manchireddy Kishanreddy participated in rasta roko. TRS activists participated in large numbers in the protest.
