Eminent artist Surya Prakash passed away at age of 79 on Wednesday. The Hyderabad’s art fraternity paid homage to late artist Surya Prakash at a memorial meet held at Daspalla Hotel on Sunday. His family, relatives, well-wishers and friends, attended the meetand offered floral tribute to the artist.

Surya's daughter Arun spoke about the life and journey of the celebrated artist. Professor D Balasubramanian, Dr GN Rao,Rekha Lahoti, Chandana Chakrabarti and Dr Vasanth Kumar shared their memories with Surya.All the attendees who were present were given a print of one of Surya's acclaimed artworks as a memento.
