Follow traffic rules, avoid heavy fines, say cops

Kukatpally: Local Traffic CI Bose Kiran has said that heavy traffic challans could avoided if people become compulsorily aware of traffic regulations. Speaking during an awareness programme conducted by SI Ramakrishna near JNTU, Kiran informed the gathering that the traffic penalties had been steeply increased five times under the new M V Act.

He pointed out that because of inadequate awareness among vehicle-riders, officials were levying heavy penalties. "If road-users become aware of the new guidelines they can be careful about getting involved in violations and avoid heavy fines," he said. Local traffic personnel were present.
