Forced out of her home, woman moves State Human Rights Commission
A 73-year old woman Uppunuthala Yadamma, a resident of Mulugu mandal of Gajwel constituency represented by the state CM, approached State Human Rights Commission, along with her daughters, on Wednesday to complain against her relative who forcibly evicted her from her house.
Nampally: A 73-year old woman Uppunuthala Yadamma, a resident of Mulugu mandal of Gajwel constituency represented by the state CM, approached State Human Rights Commission, along with her daughters, on Wednesday to complain against her relative who forcibly evicted her from her house.
As per details, Yadamma has 600-yard plot in Mulugu and her relative U Kishtaiah, who had his eyes set on grabbing her land, allegedly forced her out of the small house she was living in. Yadamma, whose husband passed away 28 years ago, raised her two daughters and married them off. Kishtaiah had been looking to grab her land for the last six years, she alleged. She urged the Commission to ensure that action is taken against Kishtaiah and do justice to her.
