Garbage bins overflow, officials look away

Lalaguda: Garbage dumped clumsily on the roads of Lalaguda underbridge has been a constant source of problem. Garbage spilling over the waste bins is causing inconvenience to the residents with bad smell and increase of flies and mosquitoes. Also, the spilled over garbage covers almost half of the road creating hardships for motorists due to traffic jam and foul smell affecting he pedestrians

"Animals like pigs, stray dogs and bovines visit the garbage dumping place in search of food and they too add to the traffic jam and litter the garbage. Several complaints have been given to the GHMC officials to remove the trash but there has been no response till now," said Hari Prasad a resident.
