The Foundation would be setting up first of its kind motor training centre for women to encourage them to learn riding two-wheelers and also get employed in several food delivery platforms across the city.

Hyderabad: With an aim to promote various skill development programmes for women, GHMC signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Mowo Social Initiatives Foundation, a non-profit organisation, led by Jai Bharathi Telangana Women Motorcyclist at GHMC head office on Friday. Mayor Bonthu Rammohan exchanged the MoU which was signed by Hari Chandana Dasari, Zonal Commissioner, GHMC, Serilingampally division.

The Foundation would be setting up first of its kind motor training centre for women to encourage them to learn riding two-wheelers and also get employed in several food delivery platforms across the city.

As per the MoU, Gopanpally Mahila Bhavan will be used to train women from GHMC Self Help Groups. Once set up, this will be first of its kind two-wheeler skilling training centre focused on women entrepreneurship and get them employed in traditionally male dominated sector and promote women safety in the city.
