With a view to improving the electoral rolls by involving electors, the Chief Electoral Officer, Telangana State, launched tt\e Electors Verification Programme (EVP) on september 1 under Special Summary Revision 2020 and informed that the EVP programme would be continued up to 15.10.2019.

Hyderabad: With a view to improving the electoral rolls by involving electors, the Chief Electoral Officer, Telangana State, launched tt-e Electors Verification Programme (EVP) on september 1 under Special Summary Revision 2020 and informed that the EVP programme would be continued up to 15.10.2019.

During the period, citizens/voters can verify their details in the National Voters Service Portal of the ECI and authenticate them by uploading a copy of one of the following documents: Indian Passport; Driving Licence; Aadhaar; Ration card; Identity Card for Government and Semi-Government officials; Bank Passbooks; or Farmer's Identity Cards.

The GHMC Commissioner said in a release that voters can verify their electoral details as indicated below: t. By visiting their Polling Station Location; by downloading "Voter helpline" mobile app; by visiting National Voters Service Portal (NVSP porta)l https://nvsp.in/; or, by visiting Common Service Centres (CSCs).

They can submit filled up forms along with one of the above prescribed documents in the Voters Facilitation Centres in the concerned ERO's Offices. The Persons with Disablilities (PWD) voters can furnish their details through ECI helpline 1950.

The voters shall furnish the details of family members who are enrolled with the elector and have been permanently shifted or expired. The voter can also furnish the details of eligible un-enrolled family members (born on or before 01.01.2001) and the prospective voters born between (02.01.2002 till 01.01.2003) who are residing with the electors.

If any discrepancy is noticed in the elector's details, automatic Form-8 will be generated for correction of entries and correct details will be submitted through Form-8.

In case of Dead/shifted members, facility of automatic generation of Form-7 would be provided. Form-7 would be filled by a near relative/family member along with Form-7 will also submit a statement intimating that he/she is a near reIative, family member of the deceased elector).

For registration, un-enrolled eligible elector will be given facility of filing of Form-6. Details of prospe4ive voters will be collected during the programme for keeping the same in database, therefore, would not be any provision for auto generation of Form-6 in such cases,

PWD electors will be provided this facility through voter helpline number '1950' to give their details. Booth-Level Officers will simultaneously verify the details furnished by the electors during authentication and they will also collect the details from other electors who have not authenticated their details, information of unenrolled and prospective voters.
