Meter Factory Road: The single road connecting Erragadda main road to Borabanda has quite a few small-scale factory lands, a few abandoned, along its stretch. A plethora of plastic bags can be seen littered in these lands.

The local children and youth sneak into the lands and pollute the area with bottles and plastic bags etc. even though there are clear boards set up that the lands belong to the factories. Some occasional passers-by also relieve themselves here, right beside a power sub-station, in the cover of some bushes. The electric poles do not seem to deter them.

Road under bridge turns dump yard

Bharat Nagar: The Bharat Nagar Bridge is a link between Moosapet and Erragadda. While the bridge is relatively clean, the story under the bridge is a different matter. Commuters and residents fling their waste down and pollute the back road under the bridge.

People traveling to the nearby Bharat Nagar MMTS Station also pass through here and are often seen urinating under the cover of the bridge. Even though there are a few GHMC waste bins installed here, people still litter on the road. However, since the road is relatively less used, people do not seem to care about keeping up appearances of the road.

Ashok Marg Junction stinks of garbage

Panduranga Nagar: The roads of Panduranga nagar are clean and comfortable to travel, but at Ashok Marg Junction, there is heaps of garbage. Every morning, a GHMC truck comes to clean up the mess, but the garbage is piled up again by the evenings. People cover their noses while walking or driving by because of the stench emanated from the garbage. A few drunkards dispose their alcohol bottles and miscellaneous waste at this junction too.

Garbage spilling onto the road here

AG Colony: The road between AG Colony and Vengal Rao Nagar is covered with garbage on one side for at least 30 meters. Some of the trash is overflowing and can be seen spilling onto the road. Right beside this manmade dumpster is a GHMC Community Hall, in which a government primary school operates. Since the road is quite narrow, commuters cannot avoid inhaling the stench emitting from the dumpster. People can be seen in a hurry to exit this road, but no one seems to take any action.
