The famous Manipuri artists Sudheep Kumar Ghosh and Kuchipudi artists Ardhanareeshwara Venkat coordinated with artists and themselves and performed Manipuri and Kuchipudi duet.
In this two-day national festival, the artists performed Kuchipudi, Manipuri, Kathak and Ravindra Nrutya Dance forms on the first day and Kuchipudi, Bharatnatyam, Manipuri and Ravindra Nrutya on the second day.
As a first day programme, Sudip Kumar Ghosh (Kolkata)'s Manipuri classical dance item "Krishna biroho", a dance taken from "kansarirapi sangsare besna'' of the first part of the third santo of the Geet Govindam", described how Shri Krishna, after spending his happy moments with Chandrabali in the grove, suddenly remembers the promise to Radha and hurries towards her with much concern and how Lord Krishna was full of remorse and disappointment when he cannot not find her.
Daliya Karmokar and Ambika Bhandary presented Nritta Prabhanda and Radha Avisar in Manipuri Dance Style. The theme of the dance was Krishna playing Holi with Vraja Gopis. This item was composed in pure dance portions of Manipuri classical dance on the different rhythms without using any expression of Bhava Rasas.
Radha Avisar is a famous song used in Nata Sankirtan. This song is written by Guru Khagengbam Gulabi Singh. This dance from is based on lasya vangi. Radha is going to Avisar with Krishna very silently, and she prepares herself with sringhar. Asta Sakhi of Radha are also included in this dance item. Radha Avisar is also based on Tanchap, and Menkup talas.
Hildoli Nihogi presented Kathak Dance, Shiva Vandana, Tehai, Tat, Bol, Poront, Tatkar. Sanjana Dey (Rabrindta Nritya) Dr Moirangthem Macha (Manipur University -Manipuri Dance Professor ) presented Manipuri dance item samodor damodor (Ashtapadi- Harihara Mugdhava) and K Jaya presented Dashavathar in Manipuri style.
Rajeshwari Sai Nrutya Tharangini students performed Kuchipudi. The items were Vinayaka Pancharatnalu, Balagopala Tharangam, Durgey Durgathi Harini – Narayana Theertha Tharangam.
