Hyderabad: 24x7 Haj control room set up
- 754 Telangana pilgrims reach Mecca
- Third batch of pilgrims will leave Hyderabad for Jeddah on June 24
- Elaborate arrangements of their accommodation, food, RT-PCR test, immigration, customs have been made
Hyderabad: As many as 754 Haj pilgrims from Telangana have reached Mecca in Saudi Arabia safely by two chartered flights of Saudi Arabian Airlines, informed Telangana State Haj Committee and TSHC chairman Mohammed Saleem. They are safe and performed Umrah.
Saleem said the Haj Committee has sent three Khadim-ul-Hujjaj (Haj volunteers) along with the pilgrims with instructions to be in touch with them and the authorities and provide help and guidance if the situation demands.
He said a 24x7 Haj control room (phone numbers 040- 2939 0081 and 040-2939 0026) has been set up in the office of the TS Haj Committee to monitor the situation and provide necessary help.
The third batch of the pilgrims will leave Hyderabad for Jeddah on June 24. Elaborate arrangements of their accommodation, food, RT-PCR test, immigration, customs have been made.
