Call for improving police standards with emerging technologies, global standards

Hyderabad: Cyber Cell Hyderabad in association with Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence (CCoE), National Cyber Security Bureau and Vignana Bharathi Institute of Technology, organised a 'National Conclave on Cyber Policing' best practices in the city.

The event was graced by Sanjay Sahay, ADGP Karnataka, Venkateswara Rao, DIG, Jain Sigh, DCP-Crimes, Dr Sriram Birudavolu, CEO, CCoE, DSCI, Anil Rachamalla, founder, End Now Foundation, and prominent delegates from DSCI, CDAC and other state police departments. Delegates came from almost 13 states and there were also three international police participants along with cyber security enthusiasts, cyber lawyers and civil societies.

The event emphasised on promoting the reactive, proactive and predictive police standards with emerging technologies and global standards. The conclave reiterated the intent in bringing together the important stakeholders for meaningful interactions on the subject. It was a networking opportunity to exchange ideas with peers and rub elbows with thought leaders.

Speaking on the occasion, convenor Prasad Patibandla stressed how to enhance the new investigation techniques, modus operandi and intelligence gathering in digital space.
