Inter student died under suspicious condition at D-Mart store in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, an intermediate student has died while receiving treatment under Vanasthalipuram police station limits in Hyderabad on Monday. The deceased identified as L Sateesh (17), who was studying inter second year at a private college in Hayathnagar.

According to the sources, Sateesh along with his friends went to D-Mart for shopping. In this context, an argument broke out between them and the security staff over the allegations of chocolate theft, where the security allegedly attacked him on Sunday night.

In an attempt to escape from there, the victim suffered severe fits and fell down. Immediately, he was rushed to the nearby private hospital, where he died while undergoing treatment on Monday.

On the incident, the victim's parents approached the police and lodged a complaint. Upon receiving the complaint, the police have registered a case, initiated the investigation and deployed large number of police personnel at Vanasthalipuram D-Mart. The D-Mart management is yet to react on this incident. More details are awaited.
