  3. Four-wheelers main violators of rules. Do not care for no parking signboards

To control the violations in the IT corridor, Cyberabad police swung in action with campaigns and is planning to deploy extra force in the major violating areas. The records say, 'Mostly, four-wheelers are the main violators of the traffic rules. Despite no parking signboards on roads, car owners park their vehicles wherever they find open place.

While heading to the ORR from Gachibowli, several taxis, autos and private buses were seen violating the norms by parking on the roads and creating nuisance along with the traffic congestion,' said a traffic police at Gachibowli. Though traffic police personnel keep on requesting them to move ahead from the place, people don't listen, hence it becomes necessary to impose challans on them, he added.

"Most of the restaurants and cafes lack parking place and we are forced to park on roads then we had to bare challans and I request traffic officials to impose challans on the companies and the restaurants like Udipi rather than imposing on us," said Kalyan Teja, Human Resource, Cloud Solutions.

Speaking over the high number of challans collected from IT corridor, an employee Shilpa, service expert, Accenture, says, "Violation of norms is everywhere in the city. Being a busy zone, it is normal to have more number of cases compared to other areas and other reason could be that the most busy IT areas like Hi-Tech, Kondapur, Madhapur and Gachibowli lack parking places. If a visitor comes here, he is not allowed to park vehicle inside the company, so he is forced to park his vehicle on roads.
