JNTU: State secretary of BJYM Vijeet Varma called on JNTU-H Vice-Chancellor Venugopal on Thursday and appealed to him to conduct an advanced supplementary examination for failed B.Tech first year students and to give 18 credit score.

He said due to their inability to secure the credit score, about 4,000 students were forced to remain in the first year. Varma stated that holding of an advanced supplementary examination would benefit the students in saving one academic year. Several students accompanied the BJYM leader during the meeting.
