K Chandrashekar Rao slammed for silence on Inter results goof-up
President of the Telangana Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Bharath Goud demanded that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao come out with a response on the inter board goof-up in evaluation of papers.
Musheerabad: President of the Telangana Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Bharath Goud demanded that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao come out with a response on the inter board goof-up in evaluation of papers.
He was speaking during the protest staged by BJYM activists at RTC cross roads condemning the state government's negligent attitude towards Inter students on Wednesday.
Speaking during the protest, Bharath Goud said that so far 16 Inter students have committed suicide because of the board's mistakes. Expressing his anger over Chief Minister KCR's silence over the issue, he questioned the KCR why he had not intervened in the issue when parents and students had been on the road for the last four days.
It is unfortunate that neither CM nor the department secretary has taken the issue seriously when the lives of 3 lakh students are at stake, he said. Bharath Goud demanded the state government conduct reverification freely as it is difficult for poor students to afford the fees.
Later, police arrested the protestors and shifted them to Chikkadpally police station. Among those who were arrested include Bharath Goud, G Naveen, Ravi Chari, Jaipal Reddy, Ganta Sreenu, G Satish, Pavan and others.
