Charlapally: GHMC Enforcement Director Vishwajeet stated here that real Lionism was about identifying the poor in distress and going to their rescue. Speaking as the chief guest at the installation of the new office-bearers of Lions Club of Hyderabad Industrialists' Club in Charlapally CIA Auditorium, he stated that free health camps were being organised by Lions clubs for the benefit of the poor to rid them of ailments.

Vishwajeet appreciated that the Lions Club members were also educating the financially weak students and distributing sewing machines for providing livelihood to poor women, besides arranging basic facilities, including water purification centres in schools. He expressed his happiness over the 'good' programmes being taken up by the Lions club.

Stating that he was born and brought up in this area, Vishwajeet offered to be in the forefront to help the poor in coordination with local industrialists. He administered the oath of office to the new office-bearers – Ambati Venkateshwar Reddy (president), K Ravi Kumar (general secretary), Doulath (treasurer), G Parasuram (vice-president), P V Ramana Rao (zone chairperson), Ramachandra Reddy (regional chairperson). Later the office-bearers took charge of their posts.
