Man thrashed for bicycle theft dies

Manoharabad: The 36-year-old man, Nagaraju, died under suspicious conditions in the late hours of Saturday in Kallakal village. According to the complaint lodged by his wife, Archana Devi, the victim was beaten up by some people on the pretext of stealing a bicycle.

According to the villagers, Nagaraju was found stealing bicycle at a house, and the people of the locality caught and thrashed him until village sarpach and VRO reached to the spot. They released him. Later, the victim died in his sleep. He is survived by wife and two daughters. Police registered a case and began the investigation.
