Marri Rajashekar Reddy, the son-in-law of Medchal MP and Health Minister Ch Malla Reddy, is contesting from Malkajgiri on a TRS ticket has intensified his campaign as he embarked on a road show from Bapuji Nagar to the Pension Lane here on Friday.
Secunderabad: Marri Rajashekar Reddy, the son-in-law of Medchal MP and Health Minister Ch Malla Reddy, is contesting from Malkajgiri on a TRS ticket has intensified his campaign as he embarked on a road show from Bapuji Nagar to the Pension Lane here on Friday.
His father-in-law Ch Malla Reddy joined him with a lot of supporters that included Jakkula Maheshwar Reddy, a Secunderabad Cantonment Board member of Ward No 1.
Malkajgiri, with a total of 33 lakh voters, is the largest Lok Sabha constituency in the country and has become a prestigious seat for parties like BJP, TRS and the Congress. The battle is getting fiercer with each passing day as political parties have fielded big leaders.
It may be recalled that Ch Malla Reddy was elected from Malkajgiri Lok Sabha seat on a TDP ticket in 2014 but switched over to the TRS later. He has been seeking votes for his son-in-law stating that they come from the same family and would ensure that peoples' welfare would be their utmost priority.
