A three-day ADMAT 2019 MatDef conference is being held in the city September 23. The conference is delibearing current and futuristic trends in materials technologies for defence applications.
Secunderabad: A three-day ADMAT 2019 MatDef conference is being held in the city September 23. The conference is delibearing current and futuristic trends in materials technologies for defence applications.
A premiere laboratory with global reputation on practicing applied and fundamental research on defence related materials, Defence Metallurgical Research Laboratory (DMRL) headed by Dr Vikas Kumar is organising the conference in association with ASM India National Council headed by Dr A K Tiwary. Indian Institute of Metals, Hyderabad Chapter, which is one of the premiere and major society of materials scientists, has also joined as one of the co-organisers.
Speakers and participants at the conference are striving to create a synergetic collaboration among R&D, industries and academia to identify and develop a family of affordable, competitive, reliable and high-performance materials systems and process technologies which are relevant for defence applications.
Many distinguished speakers, invitees, delegates from 10 different countries are participating in the International Conference. The event will have 15 plenary lectures, more than 30 theme specific keynote talks, 70 invited lectures and around 270 contributory presentations.
