The annual concert "Monsoon Nirvana" presented by Cisne Arts will be held on July 27 at ShilpakalaVedika. Titled Aadi – Anant – the concert explores the versalite Aadi talam.

Aadi Talam as the name suggests is one of the basic and first tala of music. It's also known as a complete and versatile tala in itself. Hence, Aadi to Anant. In this concert, the musicians will be exploring the various facets and beauty of Aadi and its equivalent teen tala through this concert.

Also, they will pick up ragas that impact human brain and have a study around of creating an impact on layman. The concert goes in one flow without a break and one artiste sets the mood for the other performer. Monsoon Nirvana brings the talented, young musicians from across the globe to Hyderabad to showcase their, music, and they perform together on one stage, extempore.

This year Harish Sivaramakrishnan, an engineer from BITS Pilani and the leadsinger of the Carnatic Progressive Rock Band Agam; PurbayanChatterjee, a recipient of President of India Award as the best instrumentalist at the tender age of 15, a Sitar player, who is also a trained vocalist; Gayatri Ashokan, a playback singer and vocalist, who other than singing in various filmsis also a recipient of several prestigious awards; MitaliVinchurkar, a percussionist who can perform every genre of music like Indian classical music, fusion, ghazals on her tabla and a trained Hindustani classical singer;TejasVinchunkar, a flutist who has performed with Sonu Nigam for MTV Unplugged and various other established artists; and Sumana Chandrasekhar, an exceptional handpan&ghatam player - will be performing during the concert, this year.

As this is the 8th year, in addition to bringing together some of the finest and most talents musicians from across the country, we are also proud to support a noble cause and organisation Ishva Foundation, that works with 500 plus underprivileged kids in education space, through the surplus of this concert, share the organisers.
