Mosquito menace poses threat to Rahamath Nagar

Rahamath Nagar: A dump yard located inside a colony in Rahamath Nagar has turned dangerous due to the monsoon, resulting in severe mosquito menace in the nearby colonies. Local residents fear the spread of mosquito-borne diseases in the area due to the menace.

Pallavi, a local resident who has constructed house near the Dump yard, alleged that there was no response from authorities concerned or the local corporator on the issue despite several complaints.

Another local resident Badhri said, "It has become very difficult to live in this area but we are forced to live here as we have spent lakh of rupees for house construction." Another local resident suggested government to remove dump yard from the colony. It is the time for the local corporator and authorities concerned to think of finding a permanent solution to the issue, Badhri said.
