Nampally: Geet & ghazal event mesmerises denizens
A grand musical night ‘Bollywood's sada bahar geet and ghazal’ was organised on Wednesday night. Renowned city comedian Hamid Kamal enthralled the audience which included Indian Diaspora from USA and Gulf.
Nampally: A grand musical night 'Bollywood's sada bahar geet and ghazal' was organised on Wednesday night. Renowned city comedian Hamid Kamal enthralled the audience which included Indian Diaspora from USA and Gulf.
Hamid Kamal has been instrumental in organising this event in Hyderabad for over 40 years in a row. Another noted Indo American singer Lata Uma Mantrawadi (Texas USA) and Bollywood Music Director and Ghazal Singer Ali Ghani from Mumbai, also performed at the event.
The event enthralled a large number of audience including NRIs from United States and Saudi Arabia who attended the programme along with their families. Singers from different parts of India also performed at the event by singing popular songs of Lata Mangeshkar, Mohd Rafi, Ghulam Ali and Mehdi Hassan.
Singers from Hyderabad Mohammed Osman, Aijaz Ahmed, Shaikh Abbas, Naina Chaterjee, Noor Marya, Shabban Khan and Moin Khan enthralled the audience with their melodious voices.
