New Majlis party to be launched tomorrow

Hyderabad: Stirring another storm in the state's politics, a new political party with a resemblance of abbreviation like MIM, is soon to unfurl its ideology but with a different thought process.
The party has registered recently and got the nod from the Election Commission of India as "Majlis Inquilab-E-Millat" that goes with the abbreviation like MIM sounds similar to one famous party of Old city in Hyderabad called Majlis Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen whose abbreviation also stands as MIM.
Explaining the motives, aims and objectives of the new party to The Hans India here on Thursday, MIM party president Moulana Syed Taraq Quadri, who is an advocate and general secretary of Sufi Academy and a former member of State Minorities Commission, said "Although the name of this party sounds similar to the one that exists in the Old City, the aims and objectives are not the same nor does it represent the ideology that latter owns to govern a particular community as a whole.
Majlis Inquilab-E-Millat (MIM) would function within a democratic and constitutional framework and will work for every community irrespective of caste, creed and religion at national level."
The party, he added, would focus on issues genuinely faced by the people, especially, the marginalized and underprivileged who were until now being neglected by the parties at national and regional levels. To be officially launched on this Saturday, it will reach out to people from all walks of life and raise their issues with the government by approaching the corridors of powers to get them addressed.
Telangana State was formed with a promise to render justice to the people of state who have suffered at the hands of Andhra rulers. However, the situation remains same even after carving out the new state wherein people continue to suffer with impractical promises and volte face leaders at the helm of affairs. Sacrifices of numerable lives during Telangana struggle cost us nothing more than a change of equations at the ruling level itself," he bemoaned.
Moulana Quadri asserted that birth of Inquilab Millat Party is a protest against the prevailing "Aya Ram Gaya Ram" culture rendering a 'mockery of democracy' depriving citizens of their grievances to be heard in state Assembly's and Parliament. Public Representatives elected on particular parties Manifesto bargaining themselves for sale proceeds has made us a laughing stock in comity of nations."
Thus, the prevailing political situation in the country and especially in the State, prompted us to launch a party whose establishment itself tantamount to a protest against the totalitarian rule in the country in general and in the state in particular," the president added.
