Open drain poses serious threat

Kapra: The residents of Nayakranthi Nagar in Kapra are facing hardships due to an open drainage nala. It has been more than a month that the locals have been facing the issue. The open nala has been emanating foul smell 24/7 forcing the residents to cover their noses and close the doors and windows of their houses.

Also, there have been incidents of animals falling into nala. The locals are also throwing the waste and garbage into the nala resulting in choking and overflow. The overflowing drain water becomes stagnant water and turns muddy and slippery posing threat to motorists and commuters.
