Overflow of drainage irks locals

Begumpet: The drainage water has been overflowing from past 10 days in Begumpet near Kavuri Hills Phase-I. The residents have been facing a lot of inconvenience due to the overflow of drainage which leads to unpleasant smell and mosquito menace in the area. The locals of the area said that it is difficult for the motorists and commuters to travel on the overflowing drainage water.

They also said that this road becomes an accident-prone spot as the road many times have turned into a slippery stretch. It has become difficult for the pedestrians to walk in the road as this manhole is in the side of the road. This can also lead to severe accidents of people walking on the road.
